Join our team: Associate, Advisory / Singapore

Updated: Mar 4

Ashbury, the award-winning, Asia-focused strategic communications firm for the financial sector, is looking for an outstanding individual to join our Advisory team in Singapore as an Associate.

The successful candidate will report to our Head of Singapore and support our growing portfolio of clients by building and protecting their reputations in Asia Pacific. We’re looking for someone who embodies our values of curiosity, boldness and accountability – and who has a clear passion for doing great work with great clients.

The successful candidate will be based in Singapore and have:

  • At least five years communications experience, ideally including in-house work at a financial sector firm;

  • A deep interest in the future of finance, especially ESG and technology;

  • The confidence to advance new ideas and enter into constructive debate with the team and clients;

  • The ability to take ownership of client relationships and initiatives;

  • An entrepreneurial and self-starting mentality;

  • Native or fluent written and spoken English, with Chinese and other Asian languages considered an advantage;

  • A strong network of financial and technology media relationships; and

  • Outstanding account and project management skills.

Ashbury’s competitive edge is our distinctive ability to integrate strategic communications advice with original content creation, paired with our financial sector knowledge.

Our team thinks and operates more like a top in-house communications team while thriving on the diverse challenges of a portfolio that spans from global banks to digital asset ventures. We have a flat structure, flexible working practices and a shared commitment to outperforming for our clients.

We offer attractive compensation along with the opportunity to be part of a fast-growing firm that approaches communications differently and is earning industry recognition.

In 2021, PRovoke recognised Ashbury as the Asia-Pacific New Consultancy of the year, saying: “The firm’s culture reflects its belief that the distinction between public relations strategy and content creation makes little sense, giving it an edge over bigger, siloed, agencies. Ashbury has also developed a network of independent partners around the world, and benefits from a collaborative culture that is both curious and tenacious.”

If you’re interested in joining a great working environment for motivated, collaborative and mature people, please send your CV to We’re looking forward to hearing from you.
